More than 100 million years ago, dinosaurs roamed the countryside in Chaiyaphum, Kalasin, Khon Kaen and Loei provinces in the north-eastern region of Thailand or Issarn.
In 1995, more than 700 dinosaur bones, that can be assembled to seven Saurapod dinosaurs, were discovered in Kalasin, a province 520 km north-east of Bangkok.
These fossils are exhibited in the Sirindhorn Museum which is the largest dinosaur museum in S E Asia. Join us as we revisit the Jurassic Period in Kalasin.
