17 April 12 – The first noticeable change in the hotels in Silom is that Sofitel Silom has changed its name to Pullman Bangkok Hotel G
Sofitel and Pullman are part of the Accor a hospitality group from France. Accor has different brands of hotels catering to different market segments and customers’ tastes ranging from luxury, upscale, midscale and economy.
These brands are Sofitel, Pullman, McGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, and All Seasons. There are five more brands but these don’t have a presence in Thailand as yet.
