Common Iora lump 11-24-17 2 – Bangkok Picture

Common Iora lump 11-24-17 2

A Common Iora Aegithina tiphia perches on a (¿telephone?) wire in Lumphini Park in Bangkok, Thailand. Approximately the same size as a Warbler in the Western USA. Taken by a Nikon D610 at ISO 400 with a Promaster 7 100-400mm ƒ 4.5-6.7 AF-D-type lens. (at 104) Cropped ruthlessly to this square.

Only shot I got of the species, unfortunately…

Life Sighting!

I found this guy/gal by ear, and fired off a few shots at the short end of my travel birding zoom.
