  7. 17 months that I'm back here in Jakarta, Indonesia. NONE, and NONE, in the world could beat the authentic pizza especially the thick crust one that in Milan, Italy, where I used to live for decades has the best pizza in the city called "Spontini" which orginal restaurant is right along my apartment's street. Been everywhere including NYC, none is good enough. Then they branched out only 10/15 years ago across the city. Just google Spontini and that's what I miss italy for, at least one of the reasons. Including Aperol Spritz that NY Times recently trashed.

Loved watching that Italian gentleman making the dough and finally cooking the pizza. Always wondered how they made sp much dough. Good luck with the new oven.

  9. I love watching people who are dedicated to their craft. The Mary Jo pizza owner and his wife are a great couple, so hard working and passionate about what they do and living and working together for 26 years says a lot about their beautiful relationship. Can't wait to see the pizza that you make in your new pizza oven Joe, enjoy!
